Call for applications 2020
The safefood Food Safety Skills Fund Programme enables safefood Knowledge Network members to enhance their skills, broaden their expertise and create linkages between those involved in food safety on the island of Ireland. Members can visit other laboratories, attend conferences, centres of excellence and other training events that are food safety related. safefood strongly promotes cross-border and cross-sectoral exchanges and visits.
The overall purpose of the Knowledge Network is to;
- create linkages between those involved in food safety on the island of Ireland
- bring together those involved in creating and applying knowledge to support and enhance food safety
- contribute to policy development and to the knowledge economy
This call for applications is for members of the safefood Knowledge Network only.
safefood offer a limited number of funded bursaries to a maximum of €1,200 or sterling equivalent (subject to vouched costs). There is no closing date for this call for applications. Selection of successful applications shall be on a first-come first-served basis or until such time as the programme fund is used. All travel / visits need to be completed by the end of December 2020.
